Keenable, founded by a former Yandex search executive and a German AI researcher, came out of stealth with a $26 million seed round led by Accel. The company sells access to a web search index built for AI systems rather than human readers, and says it is already used by several AI labs and inference providers. It competes with Brave and Exa at a time when Google and Microsoft are winding down their public search APIs.
