NVIDIA announced the formation of the Open Secure AI Alliance, a group organized around developing and sharing open models, agent harnesses and security tooling for cyber defense, building on the Linux Foundation's Akrites initiative and OpenSSF community work. More than 130 inaugural partners are listed, including Microsoft, IBM, Red Hat, Amazon, Cisco, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, Hugging Face, Databricks, Salesforce, SAP, Mistral, Cohere, the Linux Foundation and Mozilla. NVIDIA contributed the open source NVIDIA Labs Object-Oriented Agent (NOOA) harness research framework on GitHub; other named contributions include HPE's work on SPIFFE/SPIRE, Hugging Face donating Safetensors to the PyTorch Foundation, IBM and Red Hat's Lightwell signed-patch supply chain work, Microsoft's MDASH multi-model agentic scanning harness, and SpaceXAI open sourcing the Grok Build coding agent with plans to open Grok model weights.
