Enactic released OpenArm, an open-source 7DOF humanoid arm. It targets physical AI research in contact-rich environments. The arm supports high backdrivability, compliance and safe human-robot interaction. A complete bimanual system costs $6,500. OpenArm Cell provides a standardized evaluation environment. The project includes hardware, simulation and teleoperation packages. All designs and code are open-source under Apache-2.0 or CERN-OHL-S-2.0. Assembled and DIY kits are available for purchase.
