Regulation2026-11-03

Publicis Groupe closed its $2.2 billion purchase of LiveRamp on 3 November. The FTC had approved the deal with a consent order to preserve LiveRamp’s neutrality. Liquid Death announced it will stop using LiveRamp. WPP and Omnicom had already said they would wind down their use. Publicis positions the deal as central to its AI agent strategy. It combines LiveRamp tech with Epsilon data for plug-and-play data activation. Clients keep full ownership of their data and IP. The combined offering works across publishers, tech platforms, walled gardens and LLMs. Publicis claims it reduces legal and integration work for clients.
