Release2026-11-03

Google Classroom now lets educators add Guided Learning to assignments. Guided Learning is a mode in the Gemini app. It gives students step-by-step help instead of answers. Teachers can pick Classroom sources to ground the guidance in their curriculum. The feature uses Google’s LearnLM research to support learning science principles. Students see a focused view with side navigation hidden. Teachers get AI-generated insight summaries at class and individual levels. They can also view individual student chat transcripts. Guided Learning integrates with Class Tools on Chromebooks for a locked-down environment. The rollout is global and covers all Gemini-supported languages.
