xAI released Grok 4.6, a new version of its model aimed at tasks that run over many steps, such as researching a topic, working across a codebase or building a first version of an application. It is available immediately in Cursor, Grok Build and the company's API, as well as through OpenRouter, Vercel and Cloudflare. The company reports it matches GPT-5.6 Sol on a composite intelligence score, while rival models still lead on several coding benchmarks.
