Google open-sourced AX, an orchestrator for autonomous agent workloads. It runs on Kubernetes and Agent Substrate for sandboxed execution. AX uses four primitives: Task, Workspace, Gateway, and Model. It supports suspending and resuming idle agents. The CLI mirrors kubectl commands for managing tasks. AX is currently in active development with breaking changes expected. It is licensed under Apache 2.0.
