Google Vault now supports filtered exports for Gemini in Workspace. Admins can filter conversations by custodian and date range. Exports include user prompts, AI responses, generated attachments and file links. Exports are delivered in JSON with metadata aligned to the Gemini app format. Admins can start exports from the Vault UI by selecting the new service. API support will follow within 14 days of the UI rollout. The feature covers conversations across Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Meet. Future releases will add retention rules and litigation holds for Gemini in Workspace. The rollout is available now for Rapid and Scheduled Release domains.
