Release2026-10-08

Google released AI Edge Foresight, a Mac app for offline meeting notes. It transcribes conversations and generates notes using on-device AI. The app supports a split-screen view for manual and AI notes. Users can chat with a Gemma 4 assistant for answers during meetings. It accepts PDFs, Docs, Office files, text, Markdown and bookmarks. The app builds a knowledge base from uploaded documents. It answers questions in real time using that knowledge base. It is optimized for Apple Silicon and works fully offline. Google may later release a consumer version for video calls.
