Perplexity launched Teammates, always-on AI agents for work. They can handle multiple tasks at the same time. Each agent runs in its own thread inside the Perplexity app. They can also be used in Slack. Teammates pull from existing projects, skills and memory in Perplexity tools. They build on Perplexity Computer to collaborate on large-scale work. Access requires the $200 per month Max plan. Perplexity envisions hundreds of agents per person in the future.
