Google is spending €13 billion on AI computing facilities in Finland. It will build three new data centers over the next two years. It will also expand its existing site in Hamina, in the country's southeast. Google described the plan in a statement on Wednesday. It is the company's largest investment in Europe. Finland's cold climate and carbon-free electricity have drawn data center builders. Shares in Fortum and Nokia rose after the announcement. The wider Finnish stock market rallied as well.
