Meta released Muse Glimmer, a 30-billion-parameter model published under a permissive open licence so anyone can download, modify and run it on a personal computer with one consumer graphics card. It is built to run assistants that carry out multi-step tasks such as handling files, writing code and reading screenshots, and it works offline. Meta's more capable Muse Spark model remains closed and available only through the company.
