Meta launched Waddle World. It is a Tamagotchi-style app with AI. Users hatch and grow a virtual pet. The pet listens to voice or text and writes journal entries. It also offers mini-games and weekly emails. The app is live only in the Philippines on iOS and Android. Meta says it is not a chatbot or productivity tool. It is rated for users over 18. Meta has not announced wider availability.
