Microsoft added over 25 new finance skills to Copilot. These cover tasks from month-end close to investment analysis. Users can now start workflows in Copilot and bring in Excel later. The update includes partner-built plug-ins for finance. Copilot can connect to existing data sources like QuickBooks and FactSet. Users can customize Copilot by demonstrating a process in Excel. Over 8,000 users tested the new skills in seven days. They invoked the skills more than 44,000 times. The features also support audit evidence packages and forecast reviews. A capital markets plug-in aids investment cases and acquisition analyses.
