LangChain released Managed Deep Agents v0.10. It adds browser use so agents can act on sites without APIs. Agents can hand the browser window to a user for login. It also adds async subagents for background tasks. The main agent can keep talking while subagents run. Replies return to the original Slack thread. A Stop button in Slack cancels runs. Handoff links expire after 15 minutes. Async subagents share the agent’s sandbox. The release is in public beta. Breaking changes remove `connectors.mcp()` and the `connectors/` layout.
What changed
Agents could not interact with websites lacking APIs, and subagents ran inline, blocking the main agent.
What it unlocks
Agents can now complete tasks on non-API websites and run long background jobs without blocking user interaction.
