Release2026-10-21

Google Meet now supports video tile pairing on iOS and Android. Users can pair their tile with another participant’s tile. Both tiles appear side-by-side for all attendees. The feature helps Deaf or hard-of-hearing users keep a sign language interpreter visible. Paired tiles stay together regardless of who is speaking. Live captions are displayed and attributed to both speakers. Admins can disable the feature at the organizational unit level. End users can enable or disable it themselves. Rollout to Android began on October 12, 2026. Rollout to iOS starts on November 2, 2026. It is available to all Google Workspace customers and personal account users.
