Ghost emerged from stealth with an $11M seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz. Its first product is Core, a $3,499 computer for personal AI agents. Core centralizes user data and runs agents without constant prompting. It includes an Nvidia RTX Pro 4000 SFF Blackwell GPU. Preorders opened on 5 October 2026. Shipping is scheduled for the last week of October. Core has its own software layer, browser, and filing system. It comes with three models preinstalled. Users can install other models from Hugging Face or load their own. Core receives over-the-air model updates. All data is encrypted and stored locally on the device. Users control agent autonomy and can set a firewall for credentials. The device is designed to keep working if Ghost shuts down.
