Anaconda appointed Stewart Grierson as its new CFO. Grierson has two decades of experience in data infrastructure. He previously helped take ArcSight public before its $1.5 billion sale to HP. He views an IPO as one possible path for growth, not an end goal. Anaconda has 50 million users for its Python distribution platform. The company raised $150 million in a Series C round last year. It has made three acquisitions since April, including Enkrypt AI. Grierson aims to grow Anaconda’s annual recurring revenue beyond $150 million. He plans to expand the finance team from its current 14 members. The company now employs over 400 people.
