Anaconda launched Kilo Desktop in beta. It is a single app for agentic AI coding and data science. The app offers access to over 500 AI models. It includes editable notebooks, conda environment management, and admin controls. Workspaces group multiple folders for cross-repo agent access. Four built-in agents handle code, planning, questions, and debugging. Custom agents can be created and shared. Notebooks are edited directly by agents. Conda environments are managed without a terminal. Layouts are customizable with tabs, carousels, and multi-monitor support. A model router selects the cheapest capable model automatically. Local models can run on-device with optional agent toolkit. Administrators can set model, provider, and agent permissions.
