Anthropic released a Claude add-on for Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. It opens in a sidebar inside those apps. It can read, edit, and format content directly in the file. It can also create and edit Google files from a Claude chat. The add-on supports two editing modes: ask before edits or accept all edits. It carries over existing connectors, skills, and enterprise controls. Admins can deploy it to their domain or selected groups. The connectors are also in beta. The add-on is available on all paid Claude plans.
