Anthropic is stealth testing Claude Fable 5.2 in the wild. Early clips show it building smooth canvas games and animated mascots in pure JavaScript. The model outputs raw JavaScript with sprites and animations drawn directly in code. Users report it feels more advanced than current Claude versions. A tester claims Fable 5.2 holds its own against OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra. Anthropic has not commented on the A/B test. Opus 5.5 is also reportedly in stealth testing under the codename claude-wafer-eap. Opus 5.5 is said to have adaptive thinking always on and forced tool use retired. Opus 5.5 is rumored to launch this week. Partners have had access for 24 hours only.
