Chinese robotics startup Dexmal is in talks for a funding round that would value it at about 20 billion yuan, or roughly $3 billion, according to founder Tang Wenbin speaking at the World Robot Conference in Beijing. The talks are still ongoing and no round has closed. Earlier backers include Alibaba, NIO Capital and the AI lab Z.AI, also known as Zhipu.
What changed
Earlier rounds were led by Alibaba and NIO Capital late last year, with a later round including Z.AI (Zhipu).
