OpenAI president Greg Brockman said the company could be IPO ready in 2027. He spoke at a Wall Street Journal tech conference on Wednesday. He noted OpenAI has been gaining ground in the enterprise market. Rival Anthropic had already made inroads there. Brockman said OpenAI saw 70% quarterly growth in annualized revenue in Q3. He attributed this to the enterprise side of the business doubling. Enterprise revenue is now the majority of OpenAI’s total revenue. He cited a recent partnership with JPMorgan Chase as an example of new enterprise clients. Brockman said OpenAI was not in the enterprise conversation a year ago. He said the company now builds trust and demonstrates long-term reliability to clients.
