Release2026-10-14

NeodraDynamics unveiled Neo1, a 13-foot humanoid robot. It combines hydraulic power and electric drives. The robot handles a 1,102-pound payload across two arms. It uses 39 hydraulic actuators and two electric drives for 41 degrees of freedom. The system claims ±0.0002-inch positioning accuracy. It targets heavy-component assembly, ports, nuclear facilities, underwater work and mines. Hydraulics provide high force in a compact form. Electric servo control balances load capacity and precision. The robot was shown at the 2026 China International Industry Fair with JD Industrial. Its specs still need independent verification.

What changed

Most humanoid robots use only electric motors for all joints.
