Black Forest Labs released FLUX 3 Image Klein. It is a 5.6B-parameter open-weights text-to-image model. It supports multi-reference generation with up to ten images. It also supports image editing with bounding-box control. It offers native 4K generation and pixel-perfect edits. It ranks first in internal evaluations against larger open and closed models. It runs on consumer GPUs with as little as 8 GB VRAM. The distilled model generates a 1 MP image in under 9 seconds on an RTX 4070. It is available via open weights and the BFL API. The weights are licensed under the FLUX Kommunity License. Larger organizations need a separate commercial license. It is the second open-weights release in the FLUX 3 family.
