Google connected Gemini in Workspace to seven outside business tools. The list covers Asana, Atlassian Rovo, HubSpot, Intuit Mailchimp, Intuit QuickBooks, Monday and Salesforce. The links use Model Context Protocol, a shared standard for passing data to assistants. Users can pull information without switching tabs or downloading files. Access runs through the Gemini side panel in Docs, Sheets and Slides, and through Google Chat. The feature is on by default for users with Gemini for Workspace access. Admins can choose which connectors are allowed at domain, organisational unit or group level. It is live now for both Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains. Eligible plans include Business, Enterprise, Enterprise Essentials Plus, several education add-ons and consumer Google AI Pro and Ultra.
