Tutor Intelligence raised $75 million in a Series B round led by Andreessen Horowitz. Its total funding is now $117 million. The company builds robots like Cassie and Sonny for picking, towing and stacking. Remote operators guide the robots to complete tasks. Each completed task trains foundation models shared across the fleet. Tutor now operates at nearly four times as many sites as a year ago. It expects over 1,000 robots under contract by the end of 2027. The robots use mobility, LiDAR and multi-axis arms. Models improve as the fleet collects more data. Customers include manufacturers and logistics firms. Nearly a third of new robot orders this year came from existing customers. Tutor was founded out of MIT and is hiring across the US. Its robots are human-inspired and general purpose.
