Replit turned on automatic model selection for all users, so its AI assistant picks which underlying model handles each task instead of the user choosing. Everyone starts in the free tier and is warned before work escalates to modes that cost money, and Core and Pro users can still pick models by hand. Enterprise administrators can limit the set of models available in a workspace.
