Release2026-09-25

Microsoft unveiled a new Copilot super app. It merges chat, coding and Autopilot agents into one interface. Home combines Copilot Chat and Cowork as the default landing page. Code lets users build and share cloud-hosted internal apps. Autopilot is a cloud-based personal AI assistant with its own identity and workspace. It can watch Teams channels and run recurring tasks. Microsoft positions Autopilot as an enterprise-grade digital teammate. Usage-based billing applies to Cowork, Code and Autopilot. Home and Code roll out to Frontier program in coming weeks. Autopilot enters private preview later this month. Code preview for Microsoft 365 Premium and Pro comes later this year. Microsoft compares Copilot’s potential impact to Office.
