Release2026-11-05

Walmart added visual recognition and cart generation to its Sparky AI assistant. It can now turn handwritten or digital shopping lists into ready carts. New features include stain removal advice and recipe generation with cart creation. It also suggests healthy ingredient swaps in recipes. The Shop to Light tool pins product locations on store maps. Updates are live for U.S. customers now. Spanish and French support is rolling out in Mexico and Canada. Voice recognition will be chainwide by year-end. Sparky will not be used for dynamic pricing or hiding lower-priced items.
