Anthropic updated its usage policy. It now bans prolonged verbal abuse of Claude in extreme cases. Ordinary frustration and criticism remain allowed. The policy also bans election interference. It forbids deceptive campaigns such as fake accounts or fabricated news. Weapons software and surveillance are also prohibited. The rules apply to all Claude users. Anthropic says the abuse ban targets only extreme cases with no discernible purpose.
