Researchers built a multi-agent AI system to design analog circuits from topology to layout. A researcher agent directed schematic and layout agents with a four-tier memory. Separate agents reviewed the designs. Deterministic tools provided simulation reports, symbolic analysis, and equivalence checks. A human approved the specification and layout plan. The system created a novel current-reuse architecture for a 250-Hz biomedical low-pass filter. It completed a clean layout in 130-nm CMOS meeting specifications. The filter’s input noise was 41.6% lower than a reference design at equal power. The paper was submitted to IEEE ISCAS 2027.
