Cohere launched North 2, a major upgrade to its enterprise AI platform. It unifies security, intelligence, cost governance and full-stack control. North 2 adds a redesigned agent orchestration system for multi-step automations. Users can now create reusable agents and shared libraries. Agents retain context across sessions instead of starting fresh each time. North 2 supports both Cohere and third-party models. It offers flexible deployment in cloud, on-premises or air-gapped environments. North Admin adds granular cost controls, rate limits and user quotas. New connectors include Slack, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Exchange, Jira, Linear, Notion and GitHub. The platform meets SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 security standards.
What changed
North required rebuilding similar workflows repeatedly and lacked reusable agents and shared knowledge.
What it unlocks
