NVIDIA released Alpamayo 2 Super, an open-weight model for self-driving decision-making, and placed it and the rest of the Alpamayo family under the Linux Foundation's OpenMDW-1.1 license, which permits fine-tuning, derivative models and commercial redistribution. Earlier versions were limited to research use. The model is aimed at cloud-based development, with smaller distilled versions intended for use inside vehicles.
