NVIDIA released Alpamayo 2 Super, an open model for autonomous driving that plans a vehicle's path and explains the reasoning behind each decision. It is published on Hugging Face under a permissive licence that now covers the whole Alpamayo family, so carmakers and suppliers can fine-tune and deploy it commercially without separate permission. The model is sized for cloud development work rather than in-vehicle use, with smaller Alpamayo models intended for that.
