Google launched voice features in Gmail, Docs and Keep, powered by its Gemini audio models. Gmail Live answers spoken questions about the contents of an inbox. Docs Live drafts and structures documents from spoken conversation. With permission, it can pull details from Gmail, Drive, Chat and the web. Keep Live turns unstructured spoken notes into lists and organised notes. The features began rolling out this week. Gmail and Keep require a Google AI Plus, Pro or Ultra subscription. Docs requires Pro or Ultra. Google says business customers will get them later, without naming a date. It first previewed the audio models in Workspace at its I/O conference.
